Fuzzy Wuzzies

It might be normal for a central Texas spring? Maybe there are this many every spring? Maybe there are so many caterpillars (and butterflies) for the same reason that there were explosions of wildflowers this spring? For whatever reason, there were these little black caterpillars everywhere I went for several weeks.

And then, things got interesting in Goliad! Here are a few shots of the unique creatures I got to see on an evening walk......






I know, they aren't caterpillars, but I think these colorful guys deserve a shout out too!
